We love our new wood flooring. The people at Olde Wood were so helpful. We really had no idea what to put in our new Adirondack home, but they were so happy to help us through the process. It was mere happenstance when I stumbled upon Olde Wood LTD via the net when my wife and I had decided we'd like to do away with the old wall-to-wall and try an antique hardwood in our bedroom, which we'd always fancied to be of a rather Dickensian motif (somehow the carpet just wasn't cutting it.) A fifteen minute phone conversation with design expert Monica Triner led to a free sample, plus ample information that gave me the faith to know that these people really knew what they were doing. The price was significantly lower than some antique hardwood we'd installed in our kitchen around ten years ago (that company was out of business!), but even better was the reassuring, confident tone of Ms. Triner who answered all questions and displayed such faith in their product that we were willing to take the chance. I mean, we were hundreds of miles away in Gaithersburg, MD outside of Washington, DC! Please note that the accompanying picture was taken mere minutes after the installers departed. We have invested wisely in a superior product, an extraordinary company and a designer who, I honestly believe, was even more excited than we were about the final outcome! The pictures speak for themselves!

My wife and I bought a mantel for our fireplace from the team at Olde Wood. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We love the look of an old re-finished barn beam as the focal point of our stone fireplace. I would recommend anyone with a new construction home or who is remodeling to take a trip to look around their showroom.
