Designer was great, but their project management and customer service tanked this project. I’ve used both Closets by Design and Closet Factory. Hands down, go with Closets by Design, I would have again, but they didn’t have the color we wanted. Closets by Design will actually finish when they say they will. Onto my Closet Factory review: I was told our project would take three days to complete the job. They showed up and worked for about three hours on day one. On day two, they were a no show. When I called to ask why, they said they only needed two days, not three as planned. On the third day they still didn’t finish. On to day four, a little more work was done. Day five, it all fell apart as the shelves didn’t fit. They tried multiple times and continually they didn’t fit. All this time the house was a mess and I was promised that the owner Jack Green was going to call me. Fast forward 23 days later and the job is finally done. What was supposed to take 2 or 3 days finished in 23 days! Jack didn’t call me until it was time to collect the money, apologized (sort of, blamed it on his subs and COVID) and initially offered me 2% off. I asked for a further discount as the project took them 7 times longer than promised and was offered a whopping 6% off. They basically said the schedule is their best guess, but that they finished the job and tuff luck, pay up. I was more than reasonable in my opinion in asking for a 20% discount after taking 7 times longer than quoted. Do yourself a favor and skip Closet Factory. Like I said, I have had experience with both Closet Factory and Closets by Design and the latter is far superior in terms of schedule and customer service.

Sue Green was our point of contact and she made life harder for us after she left an unsatisfactory work at our home in Windermere. At this picture you can see as per Closet Factory \ customs designed closet \ for the cabin size luggage but in fact it is not as one of the wheels of all cabin size luggage's are left outside. We had to run into unpleasant conversations. She is not amicable and solution oriented once you pay them there is no possibility for them to ever fix or correct wrong jobs they are doing. The main point she doesn't know to apologize to clients. I'd not recommend Closet Factory.
Designing with Cynthia was fun, easy and she took in all my ideas, creating the most perfect end product all via virtual video conference. The installer was professional and a craftsman. Couldn't have gone any smoother than it did! Highly recommend!
I am so pleased with the finished product!! But the reason I chose the Closet Factory was not based on quality. I found several other companies offered similar quality. The reasons were simple. Katie really listened to what I wanted and didn’t push her own thoughts on me. She made suggestions and then we talked through it. I felt heard without having to be super forceful. Secondly, they were able to manufacture and install so much quicker than the others I was entertaining. Like so fast. That was the clincher for me. Installation was fast and professional ...and now I couldn’t be happier! Thanks Katie! Thanks Closet Factory!!
Thank you Cynthia for an amazing experience. You are so courteous, friendly, professional, patient answering my calls and texts, have lovely taste, great to work with. You understood my needs and worked so diligently till we reached the best design to accommodate my needs for his & her closets needs and budget. I would definitely recommend you to anybody who wants business with Closet Factory.
