If you're going there for the discount they're running, ask if what you are buying is part of the sale. I found out that most of the things I bought weren't on sale at all, despite having the '2019' label that they said meant it's 20% off on the signs. \u200d️ The shop manager or whoever was behind the counter wasn't very helpful or friendly. He mostly talked down to my wife when we were talking about d&d and grumbled when I had to return some brushes when I found out they were full price. I get you pay CC fees, but they could have mentioned what part of the sale before charging me. Sorry, but we're not planning on shopping with you at the new location.
Quite large assortment of models, from military to civilian aircraft, ships, vehicles, WWII war machines, classic and modern motoGP sport bikes, classic and modern F1 cars, lots of paint, masking, and prep supplies. It's a great place to browse and dig for rarely seen models of whatever. Prices are high, so be prepared for that, but few (if any) other hobby resources around metro-Boston have a model collection as rich as Hobby Bunker. I limit myself to one trip every six months, like a managed diet. Otherwise model makers like myself would end up pigging out to one's own detriment. At least I would. Awesome resource for unique model kits gathered from unique places throughout the world.
Hobby Bunker needed a 5 star review. It also needs more customers. Timeless store where I got Christmas presents for the family, you just don't find anywhere else.
