Double J's was so spectacular. Rocky and Dave were gracious hosts who were available, kind and social. Not only is the property gorgeous, but our daughter was welcomed to help care for the horses almost everyday and the trail ride was also fantastic. For the views, the hosts, and the amenities, the price for this experience is unmatched. We didn't even bring horses like most! Be great guests and treat their property better than your own. We'll be back.

I can’t even begin to describe how perfect our trip was here today. Rocky and Dave are kind and so down to earth. They run an amazing place. They gave us the tools to be safe and made us so comfortable. We loved our visit and getting to know all about the stables and the history of the area. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Visited for an impromptu Sunday summer trail ride. Dave and Rocky are the coolest cowpeople we’ve EVER met, our guide Naiya was so sweet and friendly, and we met fellow horse loving travelers. The route was beautiful, my horse loved eating leaves but I eventually learned how to keep her away from the tree buffet. Come a little early to meet the chickens and pet all the horses! We’ll come back to stay the weekend at their beautiful campground. Five stars!

We were in KY for a week on vacation from IL. Horseback riding at Double J Stables was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The property was very clean and well organized! The horses and other farm animals seemed happy, healthy, and were certainly loved and treated well! Our tour guide, Nia was a pleasure! She and her sister, who was apprenticing to become a guide, were both friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with a couple of newbie horse riders. Oh, and the ride itself was beautiful too. We rode through the woodland trails of mammoth cave national park- super scenic! If you're on the fence about whether or not to do this- do it!

Love Double J! The owners are so friendly and personable, and the horses are remarkably well-trained. Good for riders of all levels. We had an experienced rider and a true beginner in our group, and both had a great time on our private ride through Mammoth Cave. Highly recommend, 5/5.
