Visited Shirin Cafe a week ago. Loved the hospitality and the food. Something about the food reminded of home! Loved everything we ate... so different yet felt so familiar! Will be back to try more.

What a delightful surprise we fell upon! Shirin is such a lovely place that takes you away for a short spell filled with culture. From the decorated walls with twinkly lights and carpets, to the sounds of a Russian concert playing on the TVs in the background, down to the food served on china plates. The foods are delicious, we started with bread that smelled and tasted so good, followed by boiled dumplings with sour cream. I had the stuffed grape leaves and the meat was so flavorful and delicious. My date had skewed lampchops and that did not disappoint! Very flavorful, tasty, and juicey. The space is small but that only adds to the family and friendly feel. It is suggested that you make a reservation however if you get in early enough like we did, they will happily seat you.
I was so excited to try something new, but it turned out to be oily rice and a bland soup with just about nothing in it. I do believe they could tweak their recipes to make it just right. When approaching my table to speak WEAR A MASK !!!

Best lamb chops I've ever had. Like I realized I actually like lamb chops after Shirin. I am disappointed I cannot have them every night. I will not bother to find better, because these were perfect. Great teas and selection of a handful of dishes from all around Central Asia and the Caucuses. Dishes are slightly more expensive than I'd expect for the portion size which tends towards reasonable, not excessive. Fantastic cultured atmosphere which is great for dates and families.
Good quality central asian food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Everybody liked Plov, samsa, lagman, shurpa, manti. All the dishes we ordered this time
