Good for kids
One of my favorite wildlife areas at the Jersey Shore. The main entrance (off Ramshorn) has ample parking and access to the tidal portion of the Manasquan River. Great spot to put-in your canoes and kayaks. But off Ridge Rd there is another primitive parking area that affords you access to the uplands portion of the park. A well maintained trail takes you down to a secluded pond and stream through a majestic deciduous woods. Explore a little further into open fields subject to State experimental burns. Venture down the beaten paths following the stream and you will wonder what country you are in. One of my favorites. Enjoy.

Great spot for public hunting street March is a great place to hike and bike
Awesome for secluded short paddles or an excursion to the inlet. Tall reeds and lots of bird life.
Great place to launch a canoe or kayak from in the off season. From that point you can navigate up river through the winding water way up past Brice Park or east toward the ocean through the wide winding marshes. During boating season you may encounter PWCs and small boats ripping through the area so beware. Parking at the lower lot near the launch is very limited so if it's busy you will have to drive your car back up to the upper paved lot to park.
Nice little spot for Trout fishing when trout is stocked. Parking right next to the stream where you can fish.
