Ashland Elementary and Andy Jacks might be rated the \best\ in Prince William County. Don't let the ratings fool you. I am not impressed by anything at this school it is OVER-RATED!! Fact-Based reviews of REAL problems at this school seem to be hidden. The reputation of this school has been inflated by old reviews. I just have to laugh at the \positive\ reviews for this school. Either those parents haven't had any interactions or needed any help from the principal or it is the principal himself leaving the positive reviews. The current principal Andy Jacks has a my way or NO WAY at all attitude! He has a lack of respect for parents and students. He is egotistical and his arrogance is unfathomable. The principal has a way of sweeping important issues under the rug. If he's not going to benefit from it he doesn't care. He is a Hamish Brewer want to be that spends more time worrying about going VIRAL and/or social media fame then actually giving the needed attention to students and families that are not the “top achievers”. Mr. Jacks and the administration is all talk here! All the administration is concerned about is their \school of excellence\ which is all a SCAM.
