My experience with Sara and her wonderful students has been amazing! As a former professional dancer turned photographer the qualities instilled in the students make my job easy. Her students are a joy to work with as they are well trained and know terminology, are kind and enthusiastic, and have an amazing work ethic. All of these skills are being honed in this studio that is teaching young dancers not only how to be amazing dancers, but also humans!

Since she was 4 years old, my daughter has always LOVED learning and studying ballet. And before coming to Ordway Conservatory, she had honestly lost her “joy” for ballet. She really does love the challenges of ballet and doesn’t mind putting in the hours, but she wanted more inspiration and opportunities to, “show what I am learning.” As a parent I thought, fair enough. She has been attending Ordway just over a year now and the excitement, joy, confidence, and love for ballet that she shows, brings ME joy. The Director provides multiple opportunities to perform, compete, and to learn throughout the year. All of which my daughter was looking for in a new studio. She has said that when it comes to modern and lyrical, (she had never had classes before,) she feels like a “fish out of water,” but the patience and encouragement from her teacher has been awesome. The Director is professional and timely with her communications, keeps a clean studio, she’s relatable to her students, she’s tough but fair and her passion for the ballet art form exudes in her teachings! Her mantra during competitions is, “just have fun!” And as a mom, I LOVE that! Thank you for all that you do to inspire not just my daughter but all of these impressionable beings! Happy Mom

This is by far the best studio we have ever been to!! Great atmosphere, amazing people, and the most passionate teacher I've ever seen. Ms. Sara loves what she does and it shows. The productions are gorgeous and the dancers look incredible! My daughter has improved leaps and bounds here!

I can't say enough great things about Ordway Conservatory of Classical Ballet! This is my daughter's first year taking ballet, and I am amazed by what she has learned in just a short time. She is so happy and confident learning under Ms. Sara. I would highly recommend this ballet studio if you are looking for a studio where your child will not only learn and have opportunities to perform, but will also gain happiness and confidence.

I am so pleased for the opportunity to express my admiration for The Ordway Conservatory. My "niece" (she's actually a cousin, but I'm claiming Aunthood) has been dancing with Miss Sara for a number of years now, and it has been wonderful to watch her grow in grace with Sara. Since Sara opened her own school, the pupils, including my niece, have obviously flourished even more in every way. Recently, we attended "Alice in Wonderland", and were delighted to see each dancer clearly comfortable in her role, each absolutely shining, which was proof of Sara's ability and not only recognize each dancer's personal gifts, and help them develop to their best potential but then further (and this is SUCH a gift for any young performer), actually tailor their parts to not only showcase the gifts they clearly have, but to challenge them to further their skills and put them to the test. Every dancer passed that test with flying colors! Hat's off to these young people (and their ever-supportive parents) for rising to the challenges so beautifully. Especially, though, honors to Sara Ordway for her commitment to bringing out the best in each student. I firmly believe that this type of attention, encouragement, and development will serve each of these dancers well in EVERY challenge they undertake as they mature. At Ordway Conservatory, they have learned how to be confident in putting their best "toes" forward, and that will be invaluable in every endeavor they make, throughout their education and beyond. These students have already learned so much about art, music, theater, literature and of course the physical discipline of ballet at such young ages, which is to be appreciated for sure. But, Sara is much more than an extraordinary ballerina and dance teacher; she is shaping young people for a better world to come! Brava, Madame Ordway!!
