Date of service: 12/27/20 - 1/14/21 Provider: Hanna Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of service. Hanna was very attentive, genuinely caring, punctual, and worked hard to keep my dad happy. Meals provided were healthy and appetizing. And, Hanna ensured my dad was well hydrated. An example of her attentive caring was when she cut up his dessert ice-cream bar so he could eat it with a fork rather than him getting his fingers messy with the melted remnants. My dad is somewhat deaf, but Hanna worked very hard to ensure effective communication. This was made more difficult due to current mask mandates. We will use Visiting Angels again when the need arises.

Charlene has been wonderful as the first-line coordinator with Visiting Angels for us. She assigned a perfect match for our situation. Micheal has been instrumental in keeping me posted with the schedule and has been able to increase the Listing Angel visits. We have had Visiting Angels for over 2 months and have had a good experience with their services. Emails are answered within minutes, no more than an hour, and phones are ALWAYS picked up. They have been very attentive to our needs.

We hired Visiting Angels of Manassas to help my mother with mobility issues after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's recently, and they have been wonderful. When we had an urgent situation and needed an aide immediately, they were able to help very quickly. Since then, they have provided caring, kind, capable aides for both day and night shifts. They've been responsive to our staffing requests, and have shown both compassion and professionalism. We're very happy with Visiting Angels!

We have had Visiting Angels for several months now (since September). They help my mom everyday for a few hours take care of my dad who is recovering from a stroke among other health problems. I'm very impressed with the agency for a number of reasons. 1. They are very easy to communicate with regarding sudden scheduling changes and concerns and they are very good about keeping up with communication. I can even text them when I don't have time to talk and I get prompt replies back. 2. They have fantastic and friendly staff to accommodate our long-term care needs for my dad. They introduce us to the staff before sending them to us, and the staff know what they are doing. Additionally, we really like that we have the same two individuals come each week. 3. They go above and beyond to make sure that their clients' needs are being met. For example, they have regularly called to check in with both my mom and I about how things are going and have also offered direction about where we can get things like physical therapy for my dad in the future - which is a plus! As I said, I am very impressed with them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for long-term care for a loved one.

When my father’s Alzheimer’s progressed to the point that my mother could not care for him at home by herself, Visiting Angels provided exactly the help that she needed. My mother was reluctant to accept help at first, but our caregiver from Visiting Angels quickly became a member of the family. She was compassionate, skilled, and truly cared about my father and my mother. As my father’s health declined, she was a Godsend, helping my mother and our family in ways we did not expect. She made sure that my father’s last days were as good as they could be, keeping him cleaned up and treating him with dignity. Towards the end, we needed additional help on short notice, and Visiting Angels responded. We are truly grateful for the assistance we got from Visiting Angels. For those who need help but may be reluctant to get it, we had a terrific experience with Visiting Angels. The help we got made a huge difference for both my father and my mother.
