Great people that work with these animals , don’t believe what you read from the negativity from other people. All animals are taken care of. Great place to see a variety of animals up close. Keep up the great work, and we will be visiting again !!

I don't doubt that the owners love animals but I think at some point it got to be too much to handle. It is interesting to see all the animals, but we saw open sores, matted eyes, growths on some. The treats for purchase appeared to be dog food and the animals were ready and waiting for them! The reptile cages are so dirty you can hardly view them. The horses, sheep and coyotes looked very, very thin. All animals fur matted and missing large chunks of fur. Owners maintain the grounds so you can get through viewing area, but I hope the animals get to experience a better habitat some day.

We went over the summer. I was really thrown off when we pulled up. First we noticed the dogs in a cage that had at least a weeks worth of feces in the cage. Then we saw the lamas one was covered in barb wire. When we told the owner he said what do you want me to do about it. Not one animal had water in its enclosure. None of them had anything to play with or stimulate them. We decided to go off the reviews but it must not be the same zoo. The ducks water was green and gross which takes awhile for that to happen. The indoor tanks were all full of green stuff all over the sides of the tank. Things are not clean or healthy for people let alone the animals. Many of the animals are kept in way to small of an area. It could use major improvements. I understand they may be understaffed but then they should not kept animals if they cannot take care of them properly. This almost seems like a back yard breeder type situation. I just cant believe the charge and it seems like the income inst going back into care for the animals.

I love this zoo. My family and I go every year. I get to hold the babies and play with the raccoons. This family loves their animals and none if them are abused. They are fed and cared for. I am so sad that they list their lions and tigers. These animals were hand raised and they had to be very confused when taken from the only family thay knew. And what happens to them BUT they get put in ANOTHER CAGE!!! Are they getting taken care of??? Is the organization who took them from the only home they knew, Making sure these animals are being taken care of in s better manner than they thought the zoo was doing!!! I understand shutting down road side zoos but only those who have animals that are suffering from abuse, Starving, and being kept in filthy cages and made to do dumb tricks to earn their keep. Leave this zoo alone!!

This is the greatest zoo experience ever. The variety of animals and reptiles rivals any zoo anywhere. All the animals are healthy, the owners obviously do this out of love, not for money. I love this place!

What did you do with the missing animals when the humane society came to seize the animals? Give them up so they can have a better life.
