After the unexpected loss of my brother, my family turned to Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. We couldn’t be happier with how easy they made the entire process. The entire staff was so responsive, timely, and sensitive throughout the process. We felt like they truly cared and we definitely recommend them.

Horrible service. Ruined my mother's legacy. Would never recommend. This used to be a family-owned business. When my father died 7.5 years ago, Mark Holmes and his brothers ran a quality operation that really cared. Since then, they sold the business. When my mother died a little over a week ago, they did a horrible job. They made me contact them several times, with no proactivity. I had to ask all the questions. They did not correctly let the clergy know what I wanted in an outdoor, COVID-19-safe service. The clergy performed a competent burial service, but did not add in any of the elements of a funeral service that I expected (since there was no indoor funeral service). The funeral home and I had discussed this, but nothing was translated. Also, they offered that the service be streamed live. Well, the audio was horrible: none of the remote attendees could hear anything. And the video had huge black blobs in both bottom corners. They treated me and the service like it was just another one to get through the process and be done with. No personal care; no attention to detail. The funeral director only spoke with me once at my insistence. Everything else was done through office staff, and they were overwhelm
The attention to detail was outstanding. The staff and management at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home went above and beyond from the preparation of our loved one, to the wake and the funeral service.

Anytime anyone is doing business with a funeral home, it is obviously an emotional, stressful event. Mark and his team made the entire process as easy as possible, and made sure to walk us through all the steps. Their care and compassion during a difficult time was incredibly appreciated.
