The staff is very unfriendly and rude. When I first moved to Manchester I still owned my previous house as it was under deposit and since I didnt get my license updated yet, the lady working would not let me dump a full truck load I had. I had to go home and unload it. I showed her my home owners deed, a light bill for my Manchester address in my name, and my change of address receipt from the post office and she still would not let me dump. She told me I lived at the house that was being sold(as if she knows where I live?) it go to the point where the town lawyer had to get involved after I was told “I was not given the privilege to use the transfer station. I was told zero tax dollars pay for it and it’s a privilege not a right? Yet the managers email address ends in @manchester.ct which makes me suspicious that he is employed by the town? I’ve lived in many towns. I like the Town of Manchester a lot. The location is great and there are many community events. The police force is very good but the transfer station needs more friendly faces at the window and I. The office. The people working the actual transfer part are friendly and nice but office staff in my view terrible.
This old B of lady makes up storys telling people they dont live at the address that they. This is the second time this women gave a problem. This women needs to be fired and never work with the public. I have lived in manchester my whole life. I want this old B of a lady to be fired.
