A cute place, prime real estate right on the beach, in a quaint part of town. It's got a lot going for it, which is why it is consistently busy. As it does have all the elements to get the SoCal beach vibe just right, complete with an outdoor dog section, I was mentally prepared for some food that would complement the level of the vibe. First the biscuits came out, and they were on the dry side, but the dulce spread was able to save them. Then the lentils came out, and they were so salty that I had to send it back. I love lentils, and I can tolerate a heavy hand of salt, but this was inedible. After trying to flag down a manager a couple times, one showed up and was accommodating to the situation, replacing it with a simple, light salad with my cheese of choice. Unfortunately, it was not replaced on the bill, which I had to flag someone down to correct as well. So, the vibe is right, the food is wrong. Oh well, at least the sun was shining and we were on the beach.

A local gem in Manhattan Beach with free parking! Our party of three had a PB&J, nutella & banana and California. They were all perfectly made and flavorful. Will definitely return.
Hidden Southbay gem- Fresh, tasty with quality ingredients. Great vegan options too. Reasonably priced, open ‘til 10. It’s superb!
Best crepes in town, freshly made in front of you. Parking in the back. Ocean is 2 blocks away. Perfect receive for a great snack.

Hidden gem in Manhattan Beach. A very friendly owner/operator makes desserts crepes and a wide variety of tasty full meal crepes. You can even select alla cart items and have it made to your liking. Street parking is hard to find but there is some parking in the rear which is an assist in MB. We have passed the Crepe Lab hundreds of times but never stopped. This time we made it a point to check it out. It was our first time there and we enjoyed the crepes. We will be returning .
