Never in my 20 years of parking in L.A. and around the world have I ever gotten a parking ticket for paying for the wrong meter. We just got done with brunch at Nick's and were walking by the parking lot towards the beach when I noticed a ticket on my car. I was furious and several other people in the lot had the same experience. There were no cars adjacent to me so obviously I had made a mistake. Never coming back to Manhattan Beach ever again. Shame on you City of Manhattan Beach!

Biggest scam ever!!! Parking spaces are not marked and deceiving parking meters. The one for your space is facing the OPPOSITE parking spot. I paid for my space on the meter facing my spot which is how it should be and got a 60 ticket. They make the parking meters reversed to screw people over and issue huge fines just to make more money. Screw Manhattan Beach and screw these ripoff parking lots. I'LL NEVER COME BACK

Do not park there! I used it only once and I got a parking citation. Meter was paid and it didn't expire. Submitted apeal on time via online and added screenshots for proof. They denied it without any explanation. Not fair. Actually, it's a Rip Off. Shame on City of Manhattan Beach! I wonder have many other people had similar experience?

On one hand, I'm happy that the lot was open, as the one immediately to the South wasn't, and this is in an area that needs all the lots it can get. The 10 hour parking is only on the roof of the complex, so only maybe 50 spaces. The meter I used was semi-broken and would not let me add time, so I had to run my card about 6 times. It wasn't a really great experience and the City of Manhattan should do a better job making sure the meters are working properly and monitoring anyone who parks badly, as someone next to me did. On the positive sides, the meters do take credit cards.

So much better than lot 2, but without the snootyness of lot 4. Probably the best of the lot.

It was full and quite difficult to turn around and exit. Wasted about 20 minutes.
