Quiet spot in the early am, good for walking or biking, and clean public bathroom! No animals permitted on pier but plenty of other spots to walk along strand and grateful that masks are definitely required and a posted sign requirement everywhere. Thanks for thinking of my safety MB

What can I say, the pier and beach are my home away from home. Even on the pre-pandemic busy days you could always find a spot to soak up some sun on the beach. The restaurants that line Manhattan Beach Blvd are great for a quick bite or a full sit down experience. (Indoor dining once the pandemic is behind us of course) Parking can be tricky. Do yourself a favor, unless you’re super early stay away from the actual “beach” parking lots. They get full fast and can have traffic backed up for a good while. Try street parking a few blocks west past Highland, heck maybe even up to Valley Dr. it’s a nice walk, and your stress level will thank you.

One of the nicest places along the California coastline. It has a little aquarium on the pier with a touching pool for kids and lots of shops and restaurants for tourists up the street from the boardwalk. My dog loves to pull me on my longboard there. It's one of his favorite places in the world. Mine too. The Doctor

The pier offers great views of the beach. Parking is available right next to the pier and you can use your credit card to pay. You can watch the sun rise or set on the pier. There are benches to sit on. The surfers tend to gather by the pier so you can watch them surf below. There is a public restroom at the end of the pier. Wear your mask when walking on the pier - signs are posted!

Great place to walk anytime of year, but it's always crowded so wear 2 masks. There's parking on the side streets and a few lots available. Pier is near lots of restaurants, many have outdoor seating
