Had a great time learning surf skills with Carlos. It wasn't my first time out surfing so he evaluated what I already knew and we built skills from there. I will use them again, once I have mastered the skills we covered in my initial class.

Awesome class, Awesome instructor! I'd give more stars if I could as my 16 year old daughter took a class while we were on vacation from CO. She got up the very first wave and every time after that. Mike (instructor) was perfect for a first timer and Alex told us tide info, wind, etc. so that our experience was ideal. Really great, can't recommend enough.

Carlos was my very first surf lesson's instructor. He is very patient and competent. I had great fun in the ocean, feel scared and excited at the same time. I highly recommend one wave surf school and will definitely do it again.

Could not have asked for a better experience. James was amazing with Presley (our 14 year old daughter) and had her up and surfing in no time. We could also hear them both laughing from the beach, so it was obvious she was having a great time. She's ready to get back out there and continue her lessons and step up to the next level. Can't wait to see what's next and we will definitely be back out with One Wave Surf again. I can't imagine you'll find anyone better to get you started.

I had a blast! One Wave Surf is a great company which I highly recommend. This was my very first time surfing so I was pretty nervous. Everyone I spoke with there made me feel really comfortable. I was going to have a group lesson but ended up doing a personal lesson and I'm so glad I did! Having my instructor Nick to myself absolutely made all the difference, he was such a kind and patient guy and took the time to go over everything with me and happily answered all my questions. Before going in to the water I felt comfortable and could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. We took it real easy and I managed to get up a bunch of times on some little 2 foot waves. Nick was by my side the whole time and gave me all the assistance I needed, he comes in with you without a board so he can hold you on your board and give you all his attention. All in all I had a awesome day, great company and great instructor!
