Spilled a drink on a MacBook Air which resulted in charging fail. Took it in and they said they did everything they could but couldn't get it to turn on. I took it home and opened up laptop and noticed immediately that no one took laptop case off. I was able to clean inside thunderbolt connection and was able to successfully charge battery and turn laptop back on. I called back and wanted to know what \everything they did\ was exactly and they explained they let it dry. They did not take apart or clean connectors. All they did was let it dry and charged 80. They refused to refund even part of the bench fee. If i would have known all they can do is let it dry and try turning on, I would not have taken it in. Waste of time and money. Do not recommend
I recently had to take my MacBook Pro to get the screen repaired. I have apple care and I wasn't sure how much or how long it would take to get my computer back. TCW-GAV were quick to respond when I left a message for them to call me back about an inquiry. They also took my Apple Care. All I had to do was drop off the laptop and they would come out to the car to get it due to Covid-19. They took all my information over the phone and the next day, they called me telling me the diagnostics. All good to proceed and next thing you know, my laptop is done within 4 days. Service was fast, efficient, and the cost was reasonable! The only thing I wasn't okay with was not getting any sort of receipt or confirmation that they took my laptop in for repairs. I had to call and ask them to email a receipt. Otherwise, very happy with TCW-GAV.
So very happy I brought my Mac to them! I think it works better than when it was new! It wasn't cheap and I drove over an hour to get there ALL worth it! Steve is fantastic. Will be back if I need anything else.
We have brought multiple computers for service over the course of 3 years and this company and staff have been awesome! The ability to have open communication directly with the tech department is great. Our most recent issue was handled by Steve in the tech department and he was professional and very knowledgeable about Apple computers. I highly recommend this company to any business that needs computer repairs.
