I’m a big fan of Belgian fries and frequent Pomme Frites in New York so naturally when I travel I try to sift out what each place has to offer. Manneken fries is the only spot you need to visit when you’re around the Denver area to quench your Belgian Fries itch. Everything about this place is pretty much ideal. From the setting to the ease as access to parking near by. Prices are super reasonable and the assortment of sauce is the cherry on top. Staff was friendly and they have an decent selection of Belgian beers to choose from as well. This is an easy five star recommendation from me and as someone who’s has their fair share of fries, the odds of you visiting and leaving unhappy are simply nonexistent.

Boy, a 5-star place, eh? Go Belgium! Yes, the fries are delicious. Yes, the sauces are awesome. But what makes this a secret treat for me is the following deep conflict I have: a love of pastrami sandwiches, a dislike of rye bread, and a desire for something extra on top of the pastrami that wasn't horseradish. (I know, right?) Well, the secret thing to get here is the pastrami sandwich, which comes on a beautifully soft sandwich roll, and with fries atop the wonderful pastrami! You also choose a sauce, and I was recommended the house mustard mayo. (Turns out it's a spiced Chinese mustard cut with mayo to balance the spicy & the sweet ). One of the coolest sandwiches in Denver.
Love the fries and food and beer is a plus, can’t find anywhere else to get genuine German/Belgium beer. The owner seems to always be there and if you have a chance to talk to him about the beer or the food do it very friendly staff and hard working. Although the lunch basket was pricy the fries dog and beer and the sauces were great. It was worth it. Be sure to try the strawberry hoegaarden beer mix I always get that every time I go.
Staff: Friendly and laid back Food: Delicious. Literally the best french fries I have ever had. They also have a variety of eclectic sauces and dips. This evaluation may seem inconsequential, but I love fries more than I love breathing sometimes. Food prep time: A little longer than expected, but worth the wait. Drinks: High quality beverages, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Decor: Nice looking. Nothing really stands out. They patio attached to the storefront is classy. Location: In the heart of Olde Town Arvada, the location of this shop provides an urban feel in a suburban area.
Frites done right. Like a flashback to Ghent, or any other Belgian city. Lots of sauces to choose from, so experiment a little. We lived in Germany for 3 years and visited Belgium while there. This place has awesome, authentic ‘frites’ (fries). Be sure to get a dipping sauce! The Vienna Dogs are wonderful too. Employees are friendly and restaurant is clean. Always a great selection of Belgian beers. Frites in paper cone are terrific with a wide selection of dipping sauces. Outdoor seating when it’s warm.
This boutique Fries shop is SO GOOD! The fries are literally made to perfection and the homemade sauces are unique and delicious. On top of that, you get a feeling of being at home with the amazing service. The owner took the time to explain everything to me and really does CARE about his guests. More small businesses need owners like this! Thank you Chris!
This place is great! We like to bring our out of town guests here for a casual lunch and to walk around Olde Town. The quality of meat is excellent and the fries are hand cut. They have a few beers and craft sodas and a very long list of sauces for the fries and brats. Also outdoor seating is a plus. I highly recommend!
I really wanted to love this place. But I was not a fan of the sauces and I tried 5 different ones. Plus I am a fan of soft fries not really crunchy. Cute establishment but not my flavor.
