I surprised my boyfriend with a trip here for his birthday and we had the time of our lives! Steve is the best instructor in the world and he was so patient with us! We will be back soon!
My go to flight park! Brilliant instructor (Steve Wendt) as good as they come! You have everything here to get your flight feathers for hang gliding and paragliding (powered as well). Oh and did I mention, "truck towing" is more exhilarating than any rollercoaster ride I have ever taken! At 35 mph airspeed when you hear the horn, you release the glider and shoot up from the back of the truck. Got to experience it to know what I'm talking about Blue Sky caters to all, good training lessons geared for total newbies (Blue Sky's low and slow training method) I started with this myself :) Then progressed to platform truck towing mentioned above to get to well over a 1000 feet. Pilots at Blue Sky have soared for hours and gotten as high as 9000 feet above ground either by truck tow or aero tow (to be towed behind a powered plane) which gets you well over 2000 feet and next level adrenaline rush! I can't wait to aero tow :)

I bought my husband a groupon for a intro to hang gliding lesson for Blue Sky and we had such a positive experience with Steve. He’s knowledgeable and willing to share his years of expertise for any question we had. He was patient as we learned and was incredibly helpful with us planning a day to come! Would definitely recommend Steve and the Blue Sky company for anyone interested in checking out hang gliding!
