My family and I shopped at this Target for about 30 minutes today. During our time there, we counted a family of seven, two parents and their five children, walk in and begin shopping without masks. They passed by greeters and three employees, none of whom asked them to wear masks. We then counted about 5 other shoppers without masks on. They all passed at least one employee when they entered, yet were not stopped and the mask mandates and policies were not enforced. My family and I then asked an employee who then asked her manager to do something about the family of seven not wearing masks. To our knowledge, the manager, nor any of the Target employees enforced their company’s mask policy. They allowed shoppers to put every other person at risk, and perpetuated ignorance. It is vital that we respect the mandates and wear masks if we ever hope to progress, as well as to protect the other members of our communities. I am incredibly disappointed in this Target location, and I have already contacted corporate, who was equally as disappointed and has opened a claim. All we ask is that Target enforces the policies that every other business is enforcing in order to protect its shoppers and employees. This kind of indifference and irresponsibility cannot be allowed to persist.

This was my first time using Target Optical and I do not recommend. I got an eye exam in July and moved states shortly after. I called to get an emailed prescription of my eye exam, since a paper copy was never given to me. The office refused to send the prescription because I could not be there in person, which is hard cause I live on the east coast now. Which I also thought was odd because of social distancing, and the office is no bigger than a large closet. I've called Target corp for help but because it's a private office, they can't help me obtain my prescription. I've never in the history of my horrible eyes, not been able to get ahold of my eye prescription. I just want to be able to shop online for my glasses instead of going into a store, for my safety. I never thought it would be this hard to get a paper I've already paid for so I can just be able to see. My entire experience with this is disappointing since I had so many people tell me good things about Target Optical.
