Staff takes what they do very personally, without a doubt have the animals best interest in mind. They brought our little guy up from a high kill shelter in Florida along with 10 others, this is an amazing place!

I fell in love with a little girl named Cocoa through your website about a month and a half ago. Your pictures and info was enough to travel the 4.5 hours to meet and adopted her. I thank you for spending the time on the phone to get to know both you and Cocoa as she was so much more beautiful and sweet than you had described. It was love at first sight and I'm so thank you for taking the time to know a little bit about Cocoa before we met. Cocoa is now the love bug that I had hoped she would be and so much more. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you do with these creatures!
Didn’t get passed the application part. Completed everything, emailed application back. Got a rude email back. I have sever anxiety and as of now can’t hold down a job but do have a source of income And live with a roommate so I can finically afford the dog/ care. Well according to whoever the heck runs the shelter thinks that’s not good enough. Didn’t even bother replying to the email! I had my dog Buddy for 14 and half years and could afford his care! Very judgmental of people and in my opinion want to much personal info about you and whoever you live with!
They screen adopters very good and take very good care of the animals.
