Nice place to stay on Marathon. Always have a better experience at this resort because there's no one there to do member check-ins (huge perk)! Still in repair from hurricane damage but docks are back in action and bar has delicious drinks and a great view of the sunset.

Our stay was just ok. Use the gift cards right away. Once they expire you loose all the funds. They are not accommodating at all and their customer service reps say too bad they don’t care. If I could give negative stars I would. Very disappointed

As BG owners, it's one of our favorite resorts due to the fact that there is not a concierge begging you to attend a owner update. Takes the stress out of checking in for your stay. The resort not only smells clean , it IS very clean. The staff is very accomodating for any requests you have. We added a night to our stay and they worked it out that we did not have to move. They cant always do that but sure was helpful during this stay. I wish they could put an ice machine in more than one floor. We were on 2nd floor and went on the 1st floor and was almost always empty because of being on the water and people with boats. There is boat/trailer parking and ample regular parking. Not where you have to park a mile away because you came in late. As owners, we were not pleased with the boat dock usage and will address that with BG. Also, as a no pets allowed hotel policy there were more "service dogs " than we have ever seen at any hotel or resort, BG or other. I realize there are restrictions on how the resort inquires whether a dog is a service dog or not. Clearly, leaving a dog in the room while your on your boat, is not a service dog. There should be better policies in place to ensure the priveledge is not taken advantage of and abused. The dogs should clearly display a card on collar or wear a vest. Had to ride an elevator a few times with 2 "service " dogs one owner. And with multiple guests they spent their vacation I guess the dog services them all. Dont mean to sound insensitive, but this was the only place I felt I was at pet resort. Everything closes early at this resort, even the non BG owned tiki bar. 9 pm on a holiday weekend. The food and service was horrible, it's not a BG problem but they should ensure the businesses on the property are excellent. The rooms are great, fully equipped, beautifully decorated and spacious. Will stay again .
