Lovely drive. The cliffs along this road for miles are just stunning. It is not just the small area by the old huts but the whole drive for about 30 miles.

Imagine sheer cliffs 2500 feet high glowing in bright red hues. Those are the Vermilion Cliffs west of the Marble Canyon of the Colorado River. Besides lofty, striated canyon walls, there are boulder fields and erratics. There are plenty of places to stop and get pictures too.
