They were very friendly. Not at all like those TV shows. There was a cop that greeted you at the door. He shared some M&M's too

I avoid margate at all costs now. I found out two months ago, my license was suspended due to me switching car insurance, and the dmv wasn’t notified. In the middle of a pandemic, they took my physical ID, the tags off my vehicle, and impounded my car. They knew the DMV was not going to allow me to walk in and get this taken care of. I finally get to go to the DMV next Monday and I’ve had the appointment two months in advance. There are so many reasons why I’ve needed an ID in the past two months, And I can’t believe how hard it’s made my life. I even tried to get tested for Covid today at one of the testing sites, and they would not allow me to because I do not have a drivers license. Margate Police Department is the definition of awful.

Donuts aren’t that good here, I even went early in the morning and they were stale? Weird.

911 system is none responsive, can get in touch with police for non emergency call ,they always show up 20 to 30 minute after the criminals have left ,and don't bother calling if your being attack by a dog ,911 will tell you they don't handle that ,so your really on your own ,unless you dead they will come pick up your body after the crime

Today is 1.8.20. At 6.52pm, I witnessed an officer assisting a driver to push his vehicle to Cumberland Farms on Atlantice Blvd, Walmart plaza. I didn't see his badge/car number but I just wanted to say thanks. It made my heart smile to see that. I hope someday he will read my review and know that the public really appreciates him.
