This was my first time ever visiting a food pantry. I must say that I was slightly uncomfortable at first. However, the nice ladies there made me feel welcomed and were very eager to assist me. (Today was one of my days that I had to use my walker). I was impressed with the quality of the available items. There was a little bit of a wait because they had a truck delivering pallets of items. This place is a true blessing during this challenging time. Once I get my medical situation stable I will also offer to assist them in any way I can. They are GREAT folks and I APPRECIATE them very much.

The church is AMAZING! This church is family oriented..... I see some negative remarks on here and it sickens me.... I guess I don't get the complaints the rules are simple to follow. If you see something you don't like pull the person in charge aside or write the church a letter and let them know....

Great school for Pre-K, love that everyday my daughter sings a new song she learned at school and that the Lord loves her and everyone in her school

I go to the church's food bank as well as their Sunday service. I am on social security disability for mental illness. I cannot drive or be in the sun very long because of my 6 medications. I explained this to the woman in charge several times and myself and my driver were sent to the end of the line. I even showed her my medication bottles and Medicare card. My brain obviously works slower than others though I am yelled and treated like I am incompetent when I go to each crate. I also think it's unfair that the staff picks the food out of the bins and food trucks that they want first. You can see through the glass doors and I've spoken to two food truck drivers that verified this as well as going to the back and getting me a fresh chicken after the woman in charge said there were no more. I am on a limited income and I feel bad enough needing assistance with food. But receiving rotten vegetables and expired meat is not sanitary and does not help me. I know I am not in a wheelchair but I am mentally disabled. No one should be treated poorly because they need food. But the woman in charge goes out of her way to be nasty. If she and the other staff want to volunteer they should be happy to help those in need. Otherwise they should not be there.
