Appt making no problem but decision to what to put in my hair was made just by sight alone. She should have done a strand test after i told her my hair is very fine. As a consequence i have lost hair by the hand ful and my hair is as brittle as saw dust. People be warned. A person purporting to be a cosmetologist should have known this especially for new clients. And when i asked to be seen and make an appointment was given the run around. I agree with the other lady, she wanted a 20% tip too as a new client. I dont mind tipping but has to reflect circumstances.

I have been going to Colleen for a year now after relocating to the Atlanta area. I loved the highlights she did in our first visit so I have continued to see her throughout the year and have always been so pleased with her work. She’s an excellent colorist and always gets it right with me even when I want to switch things up. What’s even more impressive is the condition of my hair currently compared to a year ago- it’s the healthiest and longest it’s ever been. I have been coloring my hair for 20 years now and I could never grow it past my shoulders and the ends would always be dry and brittle. Colleen is worth every penny.

I had the pleasure of witnessing Colleen in action and I can attest to her talent. She is knowledgeable and always willing to educate her clients on the health of their hair and advise them on what may be best for them. She is not the mean stylist, she is punctual, she is well prepared for each client, she takes her time, and best of all she is a professional. Her clients are always first and she makes sure they are satisfied. I wanted to take the time to leave a review. Not just a rating. It's deserved. Treat yourselves ladies. She is worth it!

She burned my hairline during a relaxer. Washed my head in overly hot water and burned my scalp. And charge me 36 for a tip. I had scabs on my hairline and on my head that Was hard to come off, for 2 weeks. It was disgusting. I believe her words were “I need to use hot water to remove chemicals off your hair”. I was going to let it go but then now that my hair grew out, my hair is super stiff, and rough, and my hair has ridges all over that you can tell where the relaxer starts and where the new hair starts to grow out. I know there’s a 4.9 stars here, and do not mean any disrespect to those who gave 5, but there is always a small percentage that gets neglected. That’s why it’s not a 5. Just be careful, all I’m trying to say. Hope you’ll be lucky, and don’t get to be part of that small percentage. Good luck to your salon.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! I was recently a first time customer getting a full head of highlights so I was a bit nervous, although Colleen was recommended to me by a close family member. She brought to life exactly what I had wanted for my hair, and I will definitely be a returning customer. She took her time and is a perfectionist which works out great for those in her chair! Her salon is very beautiful as well- a perfect blend of chic and comfort. Would definitely recommend!
