From outside i thought it's a small place. When I went inside, it's huge. Lots of books for all ages. Movie collection is okay. Could have been better. Overall very good experience for a book/movie lover. Highly recommend. Note: employees are really helping and taking right precautions for covid.

Beautiful library with a large selection of fiction/ non-fiction and kids books. They also have a huge DVD collection. The staff is very helpful and will go the extra mile to help you out. There’s tons of computers so there’s never a wait for that. There’s even a teen section that they can use for study groups and other activities. They also host several educational events for younger children. The checkout process is very convenient and smooth and honestly believe it’s much more superior as compared to most super markets!

Tried to report a covid infection multiple times, they purposefully don't answer. They didn't even start requiring masks until last week. AVOID like they'll give you the plague.

Not too much to complain about the library and most of the staff I interacted are really nice. Just want to report one of the staff members. I returned a book after a trip and the book I borrowed had a few pages with corner pages turned a little bit. This lady scolded me and made me feel terrible. Then she fined me 26 for this 40 year old paperback book that was sold for 10 back then. She said because this book was borrowed less than 20 times and I made the book in terrible condition. I was a little shocked but paid the fine anyway. This has never happened to me in the past in dekalb libraries where I used to live and I thought maybe it’s a thing in Cobb. That was a year ago and today I asked another staff about their policy on books with turned pages. She is super nice and said those would not be reasons to fine the customers. So I guess this other lady who fined me was just being a little mean that day and made my first month living in Cobb a not so good an experience. Overall the library is decent. But I do wish the Cobb county library systems have better children book selections. When I search on their catalog, I often can’t find books that are really popular with kids like Peppa and Thomas. Either I didn’t find them or they need to update their catalog?
