This is an amazing place for both of my kids. They are compassionate, respectful, and allow riders to do what they are comfortable and capable with - after showing their skills. My daughter loves to canter but it took time. Bonus - there are also other animals like a farm, but that has somewhat stopped with Covid.

My daughter began riding at River Run almost a year ago. It has been such a wonderful experience for her. She has thrived both physically and socially and has made many friends with other riders her age and with the wonderful horses. It's also a nice experience for me while she's riding. Quiet, peaceful and very scenic.

Our 4-year old granddaughter had a wonderful experience -- her first time on a horse. I have lots of pictures and videos to prove it! The women were very nurturing and safety conscious and provided a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. On this Veterans' Day I would also like to thank the River Run folks for providing horse therapy to veterans suffering from PTSD.
