This was my first time at R’Mony Restaurant and lounge. I was specifically looking for a good Haitian restaurant to relax, have some down home food, find out what’s happening in Atlanta. I was not disappointed. I had the plantains with stewed Red Snapper marinated in vinegar sauce and seasoned with sweet/hot peppers and onions. It was heavenly delicious. The fish was moist and melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked, presented well and seasoned the way I like it. Not dry at all. R’Mony has a cozy laid back lounge atmosphere, and we had a great and hilarious conversation with the owners who took great care of our group. It’s a perfect date spot, an intimate event venue or a cool place to grab dinner with friends. Great experience overall. Can't wait to go back when I am in Atlanta again to try some of their other special entrees. I highly recommend the restaurant. Treat yourself.

The food and service was Superb!!! I went for the first time yesterday and was very pleased. I'm Afro-American and my daughter is American/Haitian and we are very hard to please when it comes to good Haitian food, I was not disappointed and this will be my new spot! Don't let the Decor and location scare you away.
I visited R'Mony's for dinner on the night of 01/23/14. I was hesitant at first because the parking lot was empty, but after reading reviews I decided to give it a try. This place has plenty of potential. The food is really good. I ordered the shrimp creole and my friend ordered the stewed chicken. You get a large serving, so plan on taking a box home. There's not much around this place, so the location makes it easy to miss and look over. It's worth a try and deserves more support. Hopefully next time I eat here, more people are aware and the lounge environment is in full effect.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The quality of food does NOT override the service, or lack thereof. After calling in an order half an hour in advance and waiting an additional 20 minutes only to find out our payment could not be processed due to owner/manager negligence, was beyond frustrating. But an additional 30 minute wait without so much as an apology for the inconvenience leaves this place seriously lacking. Gloomy atmosphere, dirty bar area only further my disappointment with this establishment. Again, if I could give this place zero stars, I would.
I'm updating my review, very nice owner. Food is OK or (Maybe it was I order). Give it them try. But the black rice was on point. My First time there, not bad.
Great little spot to satisfy your Haitian food cravings. The black rice is on point. Family operation, the staff is easy breezy, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend RMony.
Every bit of delicious Haitian cruise. I went there lastnight, an it was the BOMB it was so freaking good. It made me think about all my Haitian aunties cooking. I will be eating there every week. Believe that!!!!!!
