A rigger and I built a new mast for my boat in their yard. There were some delays when we went to step the mast (bad weather). New to boating I was nervous to move the boat back to its slip in La Conner during the high wind situation, but had to be back to work 2 hours drive time south for the next three days. They let me keep the boat at their fuel dock during that time. Helpful and friendly staff. Thank you!

Jim Rard and Patrick Harrigan transported my boat from LaConner to Anacortes. While on board, the engine overheated and they continued without calling for vessel assist or pulling over. They destroyed my boats engine. Then they pretended that it never happened. I never got a call from Jim acknowledging what happened while he was on board. Patrick refused to turn the claim into his insurance company. The entire engine had to be rebuilt before I could sell my Valiant 40. Steer clear of these people and this company unless you want to deal people who will treat you this way.

Had to haul the boat for a survey. That's when things changed (typical with boats). There were a few serious issues with the hull. Survey done, now onward with fixing issues. Long and short, the boat was in the yard for 11 months to the day. There were a couple of misunderstandings, but these were ironed out and I am a very happy customer! Thanks to Brooke, Curtis, Jim and the rest of the awesome staff.

Their repair failed and they would not warranty their work. They lost in skagit county district court case #y18-00118 MSC’s response posted to the above is that it wasn’t their work that was faulty. The insurance adjuster, a marine surveyor, Don Casey of Sail Magazine, and the yard I had to pay to redo the repair-an amount well beyond the money I got through small claims court-all said it was the work by MSC that was faulty

Staff is friendly.....however, I had some hull work done. First, they replaced my prop shaft bearing. I was told my prop shaft was bent.....it's not! It turns cleanly and evenly. Second, they plugged a thru hull for me. After 2 seasons the plug is coming detached because they put the fiberglass resin over the bottom paint. Also the paint they put on the plug has come off completely. Very poor workmanship indeed! Will not have them work on my boat again!
