So beautiful to walk through the tall trees and land at lake superior. Short walk from second parking lot. No hiking boots needed. Anyone can make it without being a skilled hiker.

My favorite place on maps. Be careful wading out to the island, as waves can stir up suddenly. It's great when you have a calm day to go out and explore.
