We hiked this area and walked through one of the trails - McKeldin Rapids Trail. It was exciting and completely loved walking into the forest. Have good parking and restrooms. Have separate shelter reserved areas for families and parties. Love to visit again to explore other trails.

Beautiful place with lots of picnic spots with grills and well maintained trails of a variety of difficulty levels. Wooded and open spaces, plus disc golf course. Two large playgrounds. Multiple restrooms which are not currently open, but porta-pottiesavailable..

Trails can have horses and bikes so be aware. That said the trails are well maintained and marked. Everyone we encountered were courteous. Very pretty area.

Hiking, Mountain biking, cooking out, pavilions...what's not to like. The trails aren't difficult. If you're lucky enough to have good weather its a great place to take the family for some fresh air and exercise.

The rapids were excellent, and it was so clean with so much to do! We drove to the farthest end of the farthest lot to get to the rapids...then we hiked in one huge circle to come out by the basketball courts. It was so beautiful! Can't wait to do it again!
