Aweful!. The tank gage sticks and was told they would replace the tank or fix it.. Its still broke. Ran out of propane 3 times ( because gage is broke) and had to wait for a fill up or pay 250 for \ emergency fill up\. Was told tank will be fixed in spring!?! So now i have to go out and hit the gage and hope to get a reading. Customer service lady wouldnt even talk, just said i understand... Do you?? Im sure if she had little ones at her house she would make sure they had heat!. Very disappointed!!

I have lived in the same house for 18 years and I have always bought fuel oil and propane from Owen's Petroleum, in Albion. Then Crystal Flash bought them out and the service started going down hill. Now they only service my area one day a week if that. Thanksgiving means your delivery day may be the following week if they only come to your area on Fridays. The week after Thanksgiving I ordered propane at 9:20,Monday morning. By Thursday night, the day I would normally get a delivery, I still don't have propane. Friday I call to make sure I will have it by the end of the day. First I find out that the local number doesn't even go to the local distributor and they will have to contact the local dealer to find out about my order and they will have to call me back. After waiting three hours for them to call me back I call them again. Again they will have to call me back. This time they call back and say they are extremely busy and I am scheduled for a Sunday delivery. If I need it before then, they will gladly come out to fill my tank for an extra 250 \EMERGENCY\ fill price. Sorry but I would rather run out than give them 250 because they put my rual area as a low priority.
I keep reading these negative comments, and I am not sure if people are talking about the same company. I have used the service for the past 5 years and have never had poor service. The fills have been timely and the customer service has always been professional. Holly and Leslie have never spoken rude to me. As for the “sketchy driver” comment seen, I am sure anyone working with petroleum products might get greasy and dirty during the days work, it’s diesel fuel people, seriously. Keep up the good work Crystal Flash.
I was a Crystsl customer for 3 years and they always keep us full at a reasonable price. The customer service reps were always polite and answered my questions professionally.
This is our second time filling with them and they have never filled us full, we paid upfront to be filled full and then they credit our account. We ran empty waiting for the them, only filled us 60% when we paid in full! Paid extra for them to come on a weekend and to perform a leak check which was never done! They have it on file that it was and we are full and are continuously arguing with us saying are tank is full! Very unhappy with them and will not be going back!
