Absolutely horrendous. If 0 stars was an option, I'd choose it. My home has been without gas and therefore without heat for 4 days now thanks to Amerigas. We placed our order with roughly 20% left in the tank on December 28 and have yet to receive it three weeks later on January 19. To make matters worse, when we call the customer service line, we are either told they'll deliver it the next day or that there was a mistake and we were never on the schedule. I'm guessing that is the pocket excuses the customer service reps are trained to give, clearly the service department is far superior to the delivery and operations department. So here we are, our delivery is 16 days late, we are out of gas so we cannot heat our home and all week it has been in the 30s. I can't think of a worse possible experience with a company. Good luck getting past the customer service representative, it is very clear that management has no intention of listening to it's paying customers, very very poor from a business standpoint. Letting a family sit in a home with no heat for 4 days although we've called twice a day for over a week, very poor from a human standpoint. This company literally does nothing right, avoid it like the plague. You would be better off using ANY other company.

I miss being able to call my local office direct and have the amazing customer service Mary and the other staff did in Marshville, NC which I would give them a FIVE star plus rating. This new automated system to set up deliveries or take care of business SUCKS!!! Even once you get someone on the line, you are dealing with a customer service call center in who knows where and you end up in the relay of messages from call centers to the local offices.
Cannot get service. Order placed days ago, and still no delivery. Now that I am very low on propane--only for backup generator and to heat my shop, they asked for a 300 fee for expedited service. I have been using Amerigas since 2004. I will be ending their service because this is unacceptable.
I have been trying to contact someone about moving my gas tank due to it being in the neighbors property. ( unknowingly, and due to the realtor who sold it to us- half of our fenced in back yard isn’t ours). I have spoken to someone twice and a “message “ was sent to dispatch for them to contact me for the move. This has been going on for over a month now. The neighbors need moved for legal reasons and it’s beyond frustrating. I’ve at my wits end. Each time I call it’s a 30 minute wait to just get someone to answer. Worst customer service ever! I am getting my tank removed now, no more being nice. They lost a customer.
Ordered propane online on 9.3 was told delivery was going to happen between the dates of 9.4-9.10. It never came, they never called followed up with them on 9.17 was told we were on the delivery route for 9.18. Nope never came. Then 9.21 comes still no propane or notice from the company. Called 9.22 (today) oh they have no idea why this happened put in an emergency order for us to get it. Nothing offered as far as a discount due to the lack of letting customers who need propane for their entire house. You would think they would offer something but no we will get it delivered to you well you are only over a week behind. Note to self dont schedule online or even get a tank from them. Amerigas you need to better serve your customers and community. You can contact me if you would like to resolve this issue better.
