The owners are awesome!... Very helpful folks... If you are looking for asphalt roads and fancy pads this probably won't work for you... We enjoyed our stay for two days in January!

They charged us 75 dollars. What do you think about it haha ？ Three of us camping all the way around Rte66,there is no one charge you in this crazy price. Even I make a phone call to him and he insisted on that price.
Saul is such a nice guy. His campground is well-kept, clean, quiet, organized, affordable and has all the amenities you need at a roadside RV stop. It’s not a tourist attraction but if you need a place to stay for work in Joliet or a quick stop off, it’s perfect and Saul is so accommodating and friendly. We were getting in late and he told us to check out a couple open spots over the phone and then we paid him in the morning. Would highly recommend this location.
Stopped in to fill up the propane tank on our class c. Easy in & out and friendly. Will be our go to destination for propane. We live right down the street from the campground. We currently camp seasonally in the summer and travel during the winter. From the front where we filled up it appears the campground is very well kept. I would consider staying here 100%.

I cannot speak highly enough about the experience I have had at Martin’s Camping Ground. It is clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. The owner is so nice and so helpful.
Saul, the owner, had no problem with my older motor home. Very polite and helpful with my reservations. Will stop again when in the area.
Stayed here one night on our way to Wisconsin. Great spot! Very friendly owners. Happen to be a night they had a community cookout. Fish tacos were awesome! Met some great folks as well! Visit Pilcher Park while you are there. Stayed here in June 2019. Highly recommend!
