Our house burned down, and we had a very contentious insurance company. Ken at Express Modular did a great job with our project. It was fully customized, and they were happy to put in things like a spigot in the mud good for our automatic dog waterer, 2 dishwashers, and a recirculation hot water pump for the master shower- so the water is instantly hot, saves so much water! The house is beautiful and we love it. Ken and Express Modular definitely get our vote. Take a factory tour if you can!

I had a great experience with Express. Very friendly and willing to work with you in any way possible. We were able to fully customize our house from scratch and they helped input with their expertise and knowledge along the way. The quality of the building is fantastic. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do a modular home.

I’ve been living in my new home for 8 years. We worked through Express and Excel. The house is fabulous. We took an existing design and redid all of the interior rooms, windows, and doors until we had just what we wanted. Express and Excel were awesome through the design phase. Ken helped us work through every last option and was the backbone that kept the project together. I enjoyed “building the house” myself. From move-out and demo of the old house to move in with occupancy certificate was 4 months. The house was set in mid January and we moved in March 1st. So, took us about 1.5 months to complete. We could have made 1 month if the gas company would have showed up to connect the gas line, but that’s par for the course here. It was a busy month and a half. I still worked my real job, but took a lot of vacation days. I was on site every evening after work. I’d run home on lunch breaks to meet inspectors. I closed down Home Depot 3-4 times a week buying crucial little things I’d forgotten. May seem crazy, but 8 years later my wife and I are considering doing it again for a vacation house! We’ll use Express again. Yes, doing it yourself is challenging, but I love the challenge and the reward of knowing what I accomplished. Plus, it saves money, and you have complete control over the entire process (well except the utility companies :-) In conclusion, definitely would do-it-my-self again, definitely would use Express again.

It’s was great in beginning. The office admin answered my general questions. However, when I booked an appt for a consult it was a no call no show on express modular part. I could have rebooked on Monday but I feel a project this big should have clear communication especially when your office is not local. I took their no show as a sign to find a local modular company.

I have tried over a month to talk to anyone at this business. Every email I send subsribes me to their spam list with three emails a week, but no response from a person. I called at least 10 times, multiple messages, no response. I am in Washington. I even emailed their HQ to get help.... got added to the spam list again. I am not sure this is even a real business.
