Everything about this place was great. The receptionist went through all my insurance with me to make sure it was covered. She filled out the insurance paperwork FOR me. The eye doctor himself was great and actually listened to me. The staff on the sales side was very thorough. They did price comparisons and got me a great deal on my contacts. Then, when I couldn't decide on new glasses, instead of pushing me to buy new ones they simply offered to repair my old ones for free. I didn't even buy them there! I've been wearing glasses/contacts for 22 years and this was literally the best experience I've ever had.

Honest, real review. I ordered lenses for some frames that I had already purchased. During that process they ''dropped the ball'' so to speak. However, I'm not going into detail because the level of service and how management stepped in and corrected the situation made a major difference. I was taken care of and treated as a V.I.P client. I can't say enough about Mr. Mitchell who took care of my order and was very helpful. In the end my expectations were exceeded. Being a business owner in Martinsburg and a member of the chamber, I pay close attention to detail and have a great understanding of top level service. This is a great step in the right directions for this location. If the staff does a little better with greeting guest as they come in and welcoming them to come back upon exit, this location would have no problems getting positive reviews. Thank you.
It's been months since my glasses were ordered. They mailed them a month ago to an address I had three years ago. When I have used them locally the past two years. What I do not understand isI why i cannot get ahold of anyone at all. Why didn't they call me, all my updated information has been there there.
The staff was super friendly, but my issue is with the overall experience. We were told that we would get a call in a week for my daughters glasses. A month later, after having to call to ask about our purchase, the glasses finally came in but we never received a phone call. I got an email instead. Needless to say we will not be returning to this establishment again!
I love Dr. Guzic- he’s been taking care of my eyes for a long time and I trust him. However, I ordered glasses in June, received them 6 weeks later and was promised a partial refund which never came. The worst part- I took my glasses in on Saturday for a simple adjustment- I asked for the frames to be tightened. The employee helping me put them in the glass bead warmer front down, bent the frames into a concave shape that hugged my face and melted the lenses so that the glasses are completely ruined. I was assured a new pair will be rush ordered, meanwhile I’m wearing an old pair with an outdated prescription and getting a huge headache. I miss Allegany Optical! My Eye Doctor has been a huge disappointment.
