We came for a short weekend trip and had a great time. Nice and quiet community. We were on 61. Super easy, no touch check in. It’s pretty much in town which worked for our trip. However, the beautiful river is just right beside the sites. Thanks for the great stay! Martinsville is just 2 miles away and it was neat to see the track.

Very nice place. GoodSam park. Friendly people and owners. Clean. Calm and relaxing to sit by the water. Some sites back up to the water, but there is a walkway by the water for all to use. Concrete pads and nice picnic tables. They show that WI-FI is available, but I could not get any connection to work. There is no cable TV, but some over the air stations come in. Redbox and KFC within walking distance.

Real nice and quiet. Several sites overlooking the river that are quite nice. Power and water pressure seem to be good from a technician standpoint. Owners seem to be quite nice people as well

First timers and we had an awesome experience. Nice clean property by the river. Chris the hostess was welcoming, knowledgeable, and a tremendous help. Would stay again.

Excellent RV park next to the Smith River. Chris and Brenda were our camp hosts and they were great. Our neighbors were long term residents and they couldn't have been nicer. The bath house was kept sparkling clean and comfortable. We stayed a week at Indian Heritage RV Park and found it centrally located to many things we wanted to do including zip-lining at Buffalo Mountain Zip Lines, fairy stone hunting at Fair Stone SP, Mabry's Mill, the cute town of Floyd, Mt Airy (Mayberry) and the Andy Grifith Museum, Greensboro and the Science Center, oh and of course paddling down the Smith with Smith River Outfitters. I did very a little fishing in front of our site, but didn't catch anything, but that's why it's called fishing and not catching. When we got there the river was way up feom recent rains and that's what the second picture is showing, however, the river came down in a couple of days to allow for some waters ports.
