Sadly, lots of people left trash. Nice place
Was actually stranded here all night. The problem to me was odd. I accidentally run down battery couldn't start vehicle or charge cell phone. The odd part was everyone that drove down there that night and early next morning did not speak english. My passenger had taken off walking to get help that night and I stayed with vehicle and fell asleep. Woke up frightened she had not returned I went to hiway and waving arms and screaming at folks to call police I want to thank that deputy who picked up my sister and responded to folks calling police over me screaming at hiway. Was a relief that he come and give us a jump
Nice access to White River, smells horrid after a flood. And the amount of trash gets depressing. However; the view and sounds are wonderful when you can be one of only a few people. Careful of broken glass! Most of the trash and junk is brought downriver from Indianapolis.
When the water is down I take the granddaughters here to practice skipping rocks and we wade in the water a little bit. 3 and 5 year olds like to throw rocks and get wet! And I like teaching them about nature.
Relaxing.. beautiful
I go fishing here all the time, folks leave alot of trash and it's not very family friendly. Likewise, if you want to catch a fish or even just a buzz by a fire this is a hell of a place to do it.
Quick getaway from the City, Dam with waterfall, fantastic view, good fishing!
