I went to the Family Farm Fair on Saturday and enjoyed the exhibits and animals. It was enjoyable even in the heat. It was a family oriented experience.

A hidden place of Shawan road that has a spectacular group of trees and walkway under them. During the summer months they also have a nice field of sunflowers that you can pick and pay for. Parking can be a bit tight so come early. When the sunflowers are in full bloom they are amazing. When it's fall and the leaves start changing colors they look like they are on fire. The colors are so vibrant.

A beautiful county park that is also home to the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council and the Baltimore County Extension offices among others. Always some kind of family friendly event, workshop, or program going on. Informative trails to hike.
