After considerable research among log home builders, we decided that Smokey Point was the most qualified. Our home was assembled in Marysville then disassembled and shipped to Vermont on three trailer trucks. The reassembly was completed in a week. Now nine years old, my home receives rave reviews. Smokey Point accurately described what I needed to anticipate as the logs settled and the home is a joy. The logs are Douglas Fir. They are large, long and attractive. The whole structure is solidly and impressive. I highly recommend Smokey Point.

We have a smokey point log home and love it. Swedish cope logs and a classic looks. It was already assembled as a shell for the developer of a plat to give customers an idea of what they could do. So we bought it and finished it.The interrior walls plumbing,electric to sanding the logs,chinking and clearcoat. Our logs have rods every so many feet go from the top log to the bottom log and are bolted at the bottom,nice for stability where other log manufacturers use spikes. Our logs are big and well put together. 13 yrs so far and going good.
