Marie O'Connell

The staff were kind and empathetic. They made sure our Mother was as comfortable as possible. They brought in additional chairs when we were all there. Seven children and many spouses along with one grandchild and two great grandchildren filled the room and spilled out into the lobby area. Since we all stayed most or all of the night, we had food brought in. They have a long banquet style table we used to eat supper late in the night. The facility was clean and had a homey atmosphere. We are very lucky to have such a nice place take our loved ones. Both of my parents spent their last moments there.

I was surprised to see how the Old Hospice House had changed. I was there years ago and the rooms were so large and BEAUTIFUL, I was there the other day and the room was cramped and did not feel comfortable. There used to be room for everyone to be in the room and now this room was very cramped and felt like being in the hospital. I hope this was a \spare room\ and wasn't an example of all rooms. The staff though were VERY NICE.

My aunt was here and she was very well taken care of. When we visited I had my 5 yr old son with and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They opened up a toy room to allow him to play so he didn't get bored. Very easy to find and parking was pretty decent also.
