If you're coming from Rt.8 turn at giant ice cream cone at intersection of Rt.8 & Shear Rd. Park begins at end of town maintenance about a quarter to a half a mile down road from Rt.8. I parked in a pull-off beside the road, being careful not to park in someone's driveway. Beautiful walk into park, but be ready for the hills. Saw 2 does today.
So cute place. The girlfriend and I went there for hiking and we almost got lost in the woods. High recommend to have a map (available in the office) before you start.
Beautiful forest. The Finger Lakes Trail goes through this forest. Great hike, quite hilly, lots of climbing.
It's a nice forrest to walk in but the trail we intended to walk on was only mowed for about 50 feet and that ended in over - the - head grass so we switched to the section of the FLT that cut through. That was mostly nice but was very wet in many places.
