Matthew's is one of the best restaurants in the country. I lived in LA for a significant period of time and nothing I found there could compare to either the flavor or value to be found at Matthew's. Their escargot takes me back to every meal I've ever eaten there. It's certainly not cheap, but I can think of few better ways to mark an important occasion.

Matthew's is always our go to for date night. There is no better place in Jacksonville for an adventurous eater. The service is always impeccable. The Chef's Tasting Menu is the best around. The flavors are always on point and the wine pairings always compliment the dishes well. My wife and I always try to add somewhere new to our date spot, but we always end up back at Matthews!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. There are not too many fine-dining options in Jacksonville, but Matthew's is definitely one of them. The service was exceptional and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic and beautifully plated. I had the escargot, which was flavorful, rich, and fresh. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were well paired. I also had an espresso martini to finish the meal, and it was one of the best espresso martinis I have had. Overall, the staff, ambience, and food were spectacular and I highly would recommend this restaurant for a romantic night out.

Great food! I can't say enough about how pleased we were with our anniversary meal. We did the chefs tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was exciting and well presented. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

My boyfriend surprised me with this dinner and he definitely made a good choice. We tried the \Chef's adventure tasting menu with wine\ it was mesmerizing, the beef carpaccio melts in your mouth and the dessert was delicious. Candace was awesome at helping us pairing the meals with some good wines. Already Looking forward to go back. Thank you for the experience!
