Price and location and the people who work at Maui Nui are awesome! Course is very nice and challenging. My driver Head was loose and they fixed it for a super nice price and lent me one better than mine at no charge. Coming from Alaska we had not played for a few months so we had some concern of if we played as a foursome we may hold up the flow of the course. The staff kindly adjusted our time per our request and the wife and I went out to play. Again they did not need to do that but made it happen. Actually, after knocking the ice off our clubs we got around really well and had two cool local guys play through with us by the fourth hole. Anyhow, this will be our “go to course” when we come to Maui because of the great staff, location, price and great course. Aloha

The course is very well maintained. The cart we got was in good shape Tip: if you're taking a rider talk to the cart guy first Very friendly and will waive the 20 rider fee He also gave us a free token to go to the practice range There's a lady that drives by offering cocktails Thought it was a nice detail We went at 1pm and it wasn't busy We had a nice quiet time With our own music and booze (don't know if you could bring your own but we did) they actually have us ice for the cooler so... Haha Totally recommend for a quiet afternoon in Maui

The course has great views but the greens were rough and had divots on all the green. The beer cart lady was great and friendly. The marshal was kind but kept rushing us to play faster because there was a local couple that was complaining about our group of 4 playing slower than them. If your a non-resident and you get it for under 70 dollars it's a fair deal for a the course anything more I'd go play at one of the more nicer courses even if you have to pay a bit more, especially if your going to travel from outside the islands, or play faster than 7 minutes a hole. They will rush your game.

The fact you're golfing in Maui is the only reason for the 4 star review. The course itself was in barely fair condition for the climate. Many bare areas on fairways and dry patchy greens. The starter gave you the impression he'd prefer you golf elsewhere. No restrooms anywhere that we could find other than the clubhouse. No food service other than drink cart with candy bars.

You're golfing in Maui for about 140 including clubs and a cart. Nice course, fun and challenging. That's really all you need.

I had a great day at Maui Nui today! The first of many as I bought a "short term membership" which I negotiated yesterday. Maui Nui is a beautiful course and the Managers worked with me for a good deal that included rental clubs. The clubs were beautiful Callaway's and the GPS cart was a great benefit. The weather was perfect. The course was in great shape. A few tees showed some wear but the greens were mostly pristine, and a bit fast! All in all, a great day. I shot a 41 on the front nine and nearly holed the 12th, took a "breath" birdie. If you are a local or a visitor, visit Maui Nui and take advantage of their membership plans, short term or long term, it's the best deal in Hawaii!
