Had a terrible experience at the Bellevue store. The store manager Tonie immediately profiled me when I walked in and asked if I could see the teddy bear coat. She asked me what I did for a living in an effort to “understand my lifestyle needs.” That was 100% her way of finding out if I could afford that coat. I was vague and told her I work from home during the pandemic, and she said, “oh, so you don’t need a big statement piece, here let me show you these other beautiful coats that would suit your lifestyle better.” (read: I don’t think you can afford that coat so look at these other cheaper coats). I told her no thank you, I want to see the teddy bear coat, which she grudgingly pulled from the back. I told I loved it and bought it. She told me, “oh my gosh I thought you were a student” (read: have no money). It shouldn’t matter who you are, you should be treated with respect and dignity. Worst experience, luckily they make an amazing coat. I will never be back to that store.

I really wanted to give them a zero star if I could. The employees didn't even mentioned the item I bought was final sale. When I was returning it I been told that it's not returnable. Even though I talked to their manager, but she was being really rude, she really doesn't care about her customer's satisfaction. lol, No apologies and only taking about their store "policy". Isn't it your responsibility to remind customer they are getting a final sale item??? Or at least put a "FINAL SALE" sticker on the price tag!! Avoid this place, they just want your money from your pocket.

Like everybody said, they push you buy stuff and I was NOT told that the sales items are FINAL until I had paid. My friend and I spent 2000 in the store and they still charged us 35 for shipping, and it’s only FEDEX GROUND, not even premium. With all the cost, they can’t even get the shipping label correct - I honestly don’t know if I could receive it. And when I asked what if the package got lost, the associate told me that “nah, that never happened, don’t worry”, without any explanation on the terms. That’s nothing but unprofessional. The associate is super irresponsible. There are tons of good deals out there, please save your time and money NOT coming here.

Other reviews are accurate - very odd salespeople at this location. Attempted to look at a coat we ordered online and was bizarrely handed a catalogue and all but shuffled out of the store. Not sure that these people understand the purpose of brick and mortar -much better experiences in LA and Bolzano. Order online or try your luck elsewhere.

I have never felt so pressured to purchase something as I have at this store. I went in hoping to find something special and was willing to pay more for Max Mara quality and style, but ended up walking out of the store with an item I was not happy with and did not fit properly. They do not refund their merchandise, they only offer a store credit. After a few visits and returned merchandise, I realized that I'm not a good fit for the store's style and fit, but the saleswomen were persistent and tried to push items that were not my style and did not fit me well all for the sake of the sale. Will never shop there again.

Worst shopping experience ever in my life, I wish I could give them one star. I have no doubt with Max Mara’s quality, is good. But their customer service... OMG. You have go experience it yourself and you will know what I mean. They just want to TAKE the money out of your pocket! They don’t give a damn if is look good on you and fit, they just want to sell their things to you. I have been two Max Mara, this one in Bellevue and the other one in Chicago, both the same. I Will never come back, and purchase any thing from them, and I would encourage everyone one around do the same. Guys, at the price, You have so many Other choices, forget about Max Mara.

Had a very bad experience here about a year ago but never wrote a review. I had bought a signature coat from the Chicago location and I visited the Bellevue store because I wasn’t sure abt the color. They talked me into buying the same coat in another color and told me I can return the one I bought from Chicago and I said what if Chicago don’t accept return and they said it’s fine you can return this one here. I specifically asked so i can return it right? And she said yes. After I’ve found out Chicago store only do exchanges, I went to this location and I wanted ti return the coat. Obviously I didn’t want to have 2 of the same coat. Then the manager who was very rude told me that it’s only exchange and I explained what her associate had told me and that I asked them couple times that I can return this or not and they said yes. They treated me very rude and after an hour of arguing she returned the coat! Very dishonest ... don’t just lie to me because you wanna just sell your products!
