The food came out briskly but also, was timed perfectly. To my surprise, an amuse bouche fritter began the meal with a punch of flavor and the rolls and HOMEMADE pasta proceeded. The portions were robust, the flavors were dynamite (I mean lemongrass sausage?! Homemade pasta?!), and the service was excellent.

We had an amazing experience and meal here celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff is on point. Very accommodating to larger parties. Food, drinks, presentation of the food and the ambience are top notch. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and serene. Definitely recommend this place. The food is unique and delicious at the same time. Sometimes, when a chef decides to go out of the box and mix flavors or gets too fancy, the food suffers, but this is not the case at MAYPOP. Superb job with the menu items! Very creative and scrumptious!

Michael Gulotta is amazing and very creative - treat yourself to dinner at Maypop and you won't be sorry. His pastas, salads, desserts are all unique but so delicious. I have brought out of town clients here many times and it is always amazing. Because of the brilliant atmosphere and delicious food, I’d visit Maypop again and you can go with your family, friends or whosoever you wish to.

Not too long after I ordered a little amuse-bouche was brought to me. Then came the pasta. The sauce was good, having the same feel as alfredo but a different taste. There were a lot of little textural pieces throughout the dish, so it wasn't just soft pasta, which was nice. Overall the food was good and the service was great.

I absolutely loved this place! We went on a Saturday afternoon when the dim sum menu was offered and will definitely make a return trip. Tasty cocktails, small plates that allowed us to share several different items - perfect for a nice, leisurely lunch.

When my meal was complete and I was getting ready to pay the check, the waiter asked if I was from New Orleans. When I confirmed that I was, he said he just wanted to make sure I what was aware of the Covid-19 situation and restrictions in New Orleans. I appreciated the fact that they were trying to look out for tourists and anyone else that might not have been in the know in that regard.

Unique dim sum. This was a rare occasion where EVERYTHING on the menu sounded awesome. I wanted to try all of it and we made a pretty good effort. I was not disappointed by anything. The highlight for us was the lamb dish but each dish was surprising and so delicious.
