Rented a truck for a week to return at other state ..one way 1500 miles to go. That truck had no maintenance of engin oil. I had to filled up 5 bottle of engin oil after drive few hours. I asked reimburse 30 ..with receipts and empty bottles ..I had been wait for more than a year. I gave it up.

This Budget is full of crooks! They lied to me about the truck cleaning and wherever I called to speak with the manager he was never in or he never returned my phone calls! This location should loose their licence to operate! I would recommend never to rent from Budget ever! I will never rent from them ever again even if it means paying more somewhere else!
When you see the reviews stating this location is full of crooks you should absolutely believe them and run the other direction. I rented a truck one way from Austin picked up 04/26/18 to McAllen. I returned the truck on time 9am Sun 04/29/18 in perfectly clean condition. I swept out the back of the truck and even remove trash left in the truck from the previous renters. Instead of sending me a check for my entire cash deposit they kept 33 and claimed it was a cleaning fee. This is plain outright theft I have no way to prove that they did anything to that truck. Furthermore I even have a recorded phone call of the man from that location calling me and telling me that I will be getting a full refund from budget by check. These people are scam artists of the highest order. There's nothing else I can do because it's really not worth my time to take them to small claims court for 33 however between them and their God they will have to answer for thieving from good honest people one day.
Worst experience ever.... Had a reservation ... But there is no trucks.... Made tens of phone calls and no one do anything about it.... Came to the location... The guy name Roy... Took 1 and a half hours lunch... Saw 2 trucks been parked in front but not working... Asking for TPM number ( supposed to be field manager) to complain... But the guys refused.... Horrible experience, and very rude customer services....STAY AWAY!!!
