Make sure you negotiate rates before you do any additional work for these people. Receiver refused watermelons because of bugs so they told us to take them to another location 181 miles away, after we unloaded them they did not want to pay for additional miles or time. Finally offered 200 dollars and i told him i thought it would be fair to pay the same rate per mile that we received on the initial haul and he got mad and said he would pay us nothing. Very bad business people. But its all good what goes around comes around.
