I'm a concerned dance mom with an older (teenage) daughter. She grew up at the dance studio and used to love going to it, but now dreads it because of the cliques. When I come home, she tells me that she sits alone while waiting for the teacher to arrive (class usually starts late). She stated that her class doesn't feel like a cohesive team anymore. The technique classes are very helpful and the education is superb, but I wish that the environment was less segregated and more family-oriented. I hope that in writing this review, some changes will be made, and my daughter will be as happy as she was a few years ago.

Thank you Melba's for years of service and dedication to our family and daughter. Our daughter has attended Melba's dance studio for 11 of her 13 years of life and we have nothing but great things to say about Melba's studio. From their Director Julie Doyle Reyes, the instructors and all the crew, they are all dedicated, professional individuals who genuinely care for their students' formation and absolutely love what they do. The formation and lasting friendships that our daughter has made with her extended Melba's family are those of a lifetime and we are ever so grateful for them. My daughter has been dancing at Melba's School of dance for the past 13 yrs and she absolutely loves it!!! The teachers and staff are amazing, caring and very professional. They provide skills and knowledge to their students that will help them later in life accomplish their goals. We have seen how through dance my daughter has developed enrichment skills and confidence. The environment at Melba's is warm, kind, and enthusiastic. My daughter feels right at home when she is there. She has learned so much from her teachers. She has also developed life long friendships with other students, as she has grown up dancing together throughout the years with them.
